Go Cat Da Bee Refill

The cats love this attachment! They take the whole rod with them and run throughout the house.

Our cat loves these bees. There’s something about the rustling sound of the brushlike texture and the wings that drives her crazy. They’re a great way to focus her murderous energy away from us. They last a while, although if I whip them back and forth too hard with the wand to rile her up, they come apart faster. Better to dangle, drag, and swing them.

This one toy is a game stopper. I had to order more because they love it so much. Out of all the toys my cats have, this is their go to. They will go and find it and bring it to me just so they can play with it. Every cat plays differently with it, so I’m not sure how long it will physically last. But we’re still on the first one, but we have our backup ready when it’s time to replace.

My cat is only interested in this cat product. Glad I found it.

My cats LOVE this toy. They love it to death…well at least to pieces. My female will carry the whole cat dancer around the house and to me to toss for her to (maybe) play fetch. It’s a wonderful size and texture…However, the problem with that is: the life of the bee is about 2 or 3 days before I find the bristly material all over the house, and all over the medium hair cat. Its lifespan (in my house) is about a month, if I limp it along. And my crew isn’t really that rough with toys, but one will rip at it if I’m not watching, It’s a GREAT toy and they all love it, but it’s just a bit too fragile for my crew. Trying to find a suitable alternative.

One of my cats will only fetch and play with this toy. He absolutely loves it. He does like to knock it under furniture and drop it in places where we have a hard time finding it, but that is part of the fun for him. When we attach it to a wand and play tug of war he has pulled hard enough to pull the toy apart, but he is putting all of his weight into it. I have purchased this toy enough times that he recognizes the package and excitedly waits for me to open it. He loves this toy and will cry for me to get it out of the toy drawer or out from under wherever he has knocked it. Da Bee equals happy cat in our house!

I’m not sure if it’s my cats’ playing style, but among the four of them, the bee lasted for less than two weeks. They managed to tear off the bottom half, causing the bee to unravel. Despite that, it’s still very cute and well-made. I believe one of the cats got a good hold on the bee and completely removed the bottom. I did hide the toy when we were done playing and always supervised playtime with it. The feater toys seem to last longer with all of my crazy kitties. Just wanted to try a different one but will be going back to the feather attachments 🙂
