1. The tags take at least 36 hours to become active on your pet.
2. You may cut the dog and cat tags in half, along the dotted line that is on the back of the tag. If you wish to shorten the tags(for small dogs or dogs that may try to chew on the tags), make sure to attach the half that has the black magnetic strip, and throw away the half with the silver shoo sticker. You can also cut just one of the tags in half, thus allowing the two tags to be hanging staggered and letting both the black magnetic strips be in contact with the dog or cat.
3. The black magnetic strip is the part that has been encoded with frequencies, NOT the silver hologram shoo! sticker, so make sure to attach the half that has the black magnetic strip and throw away the half with the Silver Shoo sticker
4. The tag should not contact other metal objects on your pet's collar- i.e. rabies, or ID tags- If the tags rub agains a metal tag, the electro-magnetic friction may interfere with the encoding of the Shoo! Tag.
5. Make sure the tag is not near a strong frequency such as cell phone towers, electric transformers, electric home security systems and electric fences- these will interfere with the coding on the magnetic strip as well.

• Recent exposure to large doses of pesticides
